Terms and Conditions

Welcome to FarmingJobs.co.uk ("Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), forming a legally binding agreement between you and Sharman International Ltd trading as FarmingJobs.co.uk. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including employers, recruitment agencies, job seekers and candidates. Certain provisions apply specifically to employers and recruitment agencies posting job advertisements, whilst others apply to candidates searching for or applying for employment opportunities. All users agree to comply with the provisions relevant to their use of the Platform.

1. Account Registration

To fully access the Platform and its features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities that occur under your account.

2. Job Listings

As a User, you may have the ability to post job listings on the Platform. You agree that all job listings you post will be accurate, lawful, and comply with applicable laws and regulations. You are solely responsible for the content of your job listings and any consequences arising from posting inaccurate or misleading information.

Job Posting Credits and Validity

  • All purchased job postings, including Standard and Featured job postings, must be used within 365 days of the original date of purchase. Each individual job posting purchased is valid for 365 days, after which any unused posting entitlement will automatically expire without refund, credit or extension, unless otherwise agreed in writing by FarmingJobs.co.uk.

Advertising Service and Refund Policy

  • FarmingJobs.co.uk provides a job advertising service only and does not guarantee applications, candidate suitability, interviews, recruitment outcomes or the successful filling of any advertised position. Whilst we endeavour to provide job listings with the best possible visibility to visitors to our Platform, employers acknowledge that purchasing or publishing a job advertisement does not guarantee that a vacancy will be filled. All job advertising purchases are non-refundable once the relevant job advertisement has been published on the Platform, including where a vacancy remains unfilled, receives no applications or is withdrawn by the employer, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Payment Terms for Invoiced Job Advertisements

  • Where FarmingJobs.co.uk agrees, at its discretion, to invoice an employer or recruitment agency directly rather than require payment through the Platform, full payment must be received within 14 calendar days of the date the relevant job advertisement first becomes live on the Platform, unless otherwise agreed in writing. FarmingJobs.co.uk reserves the right to suspend or remove advertisements and restrict further posting privileges where invoices remain unpaid after the due date, without prejudice to its right to recover any outstanding amounts.

Value Added Tax (VAT)

  • All advertised prices for job postings, including Standard and Featured listings, are exclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT). VAT will be added at the prevailing applicable rate where required by law, whether payment is made directly through the Platform or by invoice.

3. Job Applications

As a User applying for jobs through the Platform, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information in your application materials. FarmingJobs.co.uk is not responsible for the hiring decisions of employers using the Platform. We do not guarantee the accuracy or authenticity of job listings, and we encourage Users to exercise caution and conduct their own due diligence.

FarmingJobs.co.uk acts solely as an advertising platform connecting employers and candidates. We are not a party to any employment agreement or recruitment arrangement between employers and candidates and accept no responsibility for the conduct, decisions or contractual obligations of either party, except where required by applicable law.

4. User Content

The Platform may allow you to post, submit, or upload content, including but not limited to resumes, cover letters, and job listings ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but by providing it to us, you grant FarmingJobs.co.uk a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, and transferable licence to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform your User Content in connection with the Platform's operation and promotion.

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Platform's functionality. You also agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Use the Platform to post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • Harass, intimidate, or threaten other Users or FarmingJobs.co.uk personnel.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform or other Users' accounts.
  • Use automated means, including bots, spiders, or scrapers, to access the Platform or collect User information.
  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.

6. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and disclose information about our Users.

7. Modifications to the Platform

FarmingJobs.co.uk reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time without prior notice. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict your access to parts or all of the Platform without liability or notice, subject to applicable law.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold FarmingJobs.co.uk, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives harmless from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Platform, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SHARMAN INTERNATIONAL LTD TRADING AS FARMINGJOBS.CO.UK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

11. Changes to the Terms

FarmingJobs.co.uk may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the "Effective Date" at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Platform after the revised Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
